With over 70% forest cover and a population of about 45,000, it is home to two major hydropower plants (each exceeding 1,000 MW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The majestic Wangdue Dzong, perched on a ridge between the Punatsang Chhu and Dang Chhu rivers, commands stunning views.
