Comprising four valleys \u2014 Ura, Chumey, Tang, and Choekhor \u2014 it can be reached by a 30-minute flight from Paro or an 8-hour scenic drive through the Himalayas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bumthang\u2019s lush landscapes and rich traditions have drawn comparisons to Switzerland. Key attractions include Kurje Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, Tamzhing, Tharpaling, and Domkhar Dzong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area is also known for Bumthang Swiss cheese, Red Panda beer, and Yathra textiles made from yak and sheep wool.
