🛂 Bhutan Visa Information
A visa is required for all visitors entering Bhutan, and NTS Tour and Travels can process it for you prior to your departure.
Visitors from India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives can obtain their visa/permit on arrival at the port of entry. However, please be aware that there may be waiting times depending on the number of applicants.
If applying on arrival, you will need:
• A passport-size photograph
• Payment of the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF), either online or in person
Nationals of Switzerland and Thailand holding diplomatic or official passports are also eligible for visas on arrival.
Required Documents for processing Visa:
• A digital copy of your passport
• A recent passport-size photo (digital)
• Arrival and departure dates
Visa Fees & Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)
• Visa fee: USD 40 per person (one-time, non-refundable)
SDF:
• USD 100 per person per night
• Children aged 6–12 years: USD 50 per night
• Children below 6 years: No SDF
• Indian nationals: Nu. 1,200 per night (children under 12 years: 50% concession and no SDF for children below 6 years)

Bhutan has two airlines — Drukair and Bhutan Airlines — with direct flights to and from Paro International Airport connecting:

• India (New Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bagdogra)
