It consists of visiting famous western Bhutan valleys of Paro, Thimphu, Wangdue, Punakha, Phobjikha and Haa besides covering Bumthang (a stunning central valley). This is the heart of the Kingdom where ancient traditions are still practiced and where all the well-known tourist sites are located. Business/Educational or MICE 

This package is created to take the opportunity to not only visit attractive sites but to interact, learn and understand how Bhutan is different, its unique tradition and culture and its adoption of far-reaching policies whether it is on gross national happiness, pristine environment conservation, sustainable tourism, mindful and compassionate Vajrayana Buddhism and rich cultural heritage. You will interact with Bhutanese leaders, Buddhist Masters, Environmentalist, and academicians. A group could also organize their corporate or business meetings in Bhutan and visit few nearby areas to refresh.

Note: This can be customized as a MICE meeting or corporate meetings as well and can be arranged either in Thimphu or Paro. The number of days can be reduced or increased accordingly.

 Central and eastern Bhutan 

The Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) is the biggest project in the country and has captured the imagination of the world. This is proposed to be the gateway to South and Southeast Asia. You can drive to Gelephu from Ghuwati (Assam) airport. Alternatively, you can fly to Paro and take the domestic flight (30 minutes) to Gelephug. After visiting Gelephu, you can travel to Zhemgang which is a birding paradise and spend the night at Trongsa. The next destination is Bumthang which is also known as the “Switzerland of the East” with its vast meadows and pine forests. Enjoy breath taking scenic views, sip panda beer and try Swiss cheese.

Suggested itinerary: 3 nights/4days or 4 nights/5days or 6 nights/7 days

3Option 1 : Drive to Bumthang  Option 2: Visit Royal Manas national park and enjoy a dayOption 1: Enjoy Bumthang valley and explore the beautiful landscape and places of interest Option 2: Visiting and exploring Royal Manas Park
4Option 1: Continue exploring Bumthang or return Paro if you flew from Paro (From Bumthang) Option 2: Drive to Samdrup Jongkhar – a southeastern town bordering Assam or travel back to Ghuwati to catch your flight. Option 1: suggested to continue visiting Bumthang for the day.  Option 2: suggested to drive to Samdrup Jongkhar to have a glimpse of east Bhutan.
5Option 1: Take a Domestic flight to Paro or Drive to Paro. Or travel to Trashigang- easternmost Dzongkhag. Option 2: In case you have chosen Samdruop Jongkhar, you will travel to Ghuwati to take your flight back.Option 1: In case, you drive to Paro there will be many local sites to enjoy. If you chose to explore east, Trashigang will be your destination.
6Option 1: Fly back from Paro and in case you chose to continue east, you travel to Samdrup Jongkhar – the final leg of east. In case you continued east – there will be local enroute visits and Samdrup Jongkhar town. 
7Drive to Ghuwati for your flight.  This is possible for Option 1 travelers if flight was to and from Ghuwati.
